The dude on ESPN totally misconstrued the nature of everything during the Argentina v Netherlands match (TiVo'd and better yet I've avoided the score like the plague!) by saying that the Serbia Montenegro v Ivory Coast meant nothing. Jesus Christ man it means everything! Those men were playing for their pride, maybe even their national pride, and at the end of the day that means a shitload! Nobody wants to be the scrub at the bottom, and those fine men were playing for their dignity.
