My favorite political moment of the World Cup thus far:
Watching my Republican roommate rooting for Mexico versus Iran in a match that took place in Nuremberg, where the Nazis were succesfully tried for crimes the President of Iran says never happened.
And tomorrow, Trinidad and Tobago plays England in a classic battle between former colony and former colonial power.What a great sporting event.
And a new question, am I pretentious enough to hang out over at Cafe Aroma to watch World Cup games?
