This dude on TNR's World Cup blog nailed it exactly right: Tommy Smyth is the best, and certainly one of the reasons I've developed soccer/football mania (from all those Champions League matches I Tivo'd off of ESPN this spring). If you're channel surfing past the World Cup and hear a leprechaun opining lyrically on the game you should stop and take heed- he's hilarious, perceptive, and an artist with his commentary.
