Game On

Kudos to ESPN2 for the excellent coverage and buildup to today's 1st fixture of the USA in the FIFA World Cup. Kudos to Sam's Army (whose website is down alas) for giving a shit about football and for rooting our team on (like they do EVERYWHERE else the game is played- all throughout the game , singing and chanting from start to finish) wherever they are playing. Hell, kudos to Addidas for those great commercials with those 2 kids and all those international soccer stars. Kudos to U2 for letting ABC/ESPN use their music for all their World Cup advertising.

Kudos to the US team for getting to the Cup in the first place. Now let's do this thing. USA!! USA!!!
